When Daniel and Pippa Jacobs decided to move to France, they wanted to keep a UK foothold close to family and friends. They did months of research on log homes, and were impressed by the quality of the solid log lodges at Abbotsley.

John Gearing and Nicky Hazell were among the first to move in at Abbotsley. Since then they have embraced their new lifestyle to the full.

She and John are thrilled with their Norwegian Log lodge. “As a Chartered Surveyor I should know”, says John. “I’ve examined countless different properties in my professional life, and I’m happy to spend as much time as I can at our lodge at Abbotsley.”
So much nicer than bricks and mortar
Jack and Marion Moses had already lived in a Norwegian Log lodge before buying at Abbotsley. “We loved living in a log lodge. So much so, that when we decided to be closer to our grandchildren in Cambridgeshire we set about looking for a similar holiday lodge in the area,” says Marion. “Fortunately, Norwegian Log told us about Abbotsley Country Homes, and as soon as we saw it we were amazed by how spacious and well landscaped the site was. We’d looked at many different parks, and without a doubt Abbotsley was the best we’d seen."
